But to be honest it keeps me wanting to keep reading this series just to find out how the series will end. Because it leaves us at a cliff-hanger there. However the word “Vampire” wasn’t even once said in this book nor in the first one.

The plot in this book doesn’t take a lot of brain power just as in the first book in this series. The plot here is very YA style but I found myself enjoying it much more than I’ve expected. It is easy and simple and it still a good fit with the plot. The writing style is the same as in the first book. Stefan: desperate for the power to destroy. Which really makes me love this book more and the whole series. Damon: determined to make Elena his, hed kill his own brother to possess her. The characters in this book gets more development and you can see them changing in a way as different things are happening to them and in the town. This is the 2nd in the Vampire Diaries series, and starts immediately where The Awakening left off. And this book picks up exactly where the first book ended which I always love it when it happens. The Struggle by LJ Smith (The Vampire Diaries: Book 2). Which really gets more and more interesting and I find myself enjoying it. This book has a little bit more vampire content than the first book in this book series. But I don’t mind that because somehow I like the book series better but I still picture every character as the actor who played the character in the tv show. I gotta be honest here and say that as this series continues the more different it becomes from the tv series. This one is the second book in the “Vampire Diaries” series.
